Program
The Community Contributions
Program began in February 2005 when Scot Ward Funeral Services was
established.
Through our Community
Contributions Program, when a family’s funeral bill is paid in full,
a contribution of ten percent of the funeral home and/or cemetery
service charges will be given in memory of their loved one to a
church of the family’s choice or to the charities Scot Ward Funeral
Services supports.
Scot Ward Funeral Services also
conducts a Community Contribution Remembrance Service in January of
each year. This brings the families and friends of those we
served in the prior year to a service of remembrance. A local
minister and a representative of the charities we support speaks to
the families and friends about the benefit these contributions have
made. This service is treasured by all who attend.
Through December 2009, this
program has contributed over
$639,074.67
to the churches and charities listed below.
We have been honored to give
back in memory of those we served.
