In Memory Of

John Hickey, Sr., a retired Regional Sales Manager, age 77 of Conyers died Thursday, March 4, 2010.  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pat Hickey; daughters, Kim & Wayne Hicks, Covington, Allison & Kevin Kelley, Stockbridge, Ellen & Toby Sammons, Covington; son, John Hickey, Jr. & Lydia White, Loganville; brothers, Donald & Pat Hickey, Rossville, Michael & Donna Hickey, Rossville; sister, Mary Reynolds, Salt Lake City, UT; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.  Mr. Hickey graduated in 1950 from Central High School in Chattanooga, TN.  He was a member of Haven Fellowship, a Korean War Veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force and had retired from Alloy Rods after 38 years of service.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Haven Fellowship, 2240 Smyrna Rd., Conyers at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Hickey lying in state from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  Dr. Stephen Powers will officiate and interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com  Scot Ward Funeral Services – Harry White Chapel, 1299 Milstead Ave., Conyers, 30012, 770-483-7216.
