Brenda Lunnette Palmer

Brenda Lunette Palmer, born April 1, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Bun and Juanita Jarrett, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends who meant so much to her. Born and raised in Southeast Atlanta, Brenda was the beloved sister of Nancy Hendrick. In 1964, she married George Palmer Jr., beginning a marriage that would span 62 beautiful years. Together, they made their home in Conyers, Georgia, where they raised their sons, Bryon and Aaron. Brenda was a woman of strong faith and attended First Baptist Church of Conyers for many years. She worked in child care for much of her life, but her greatest joy was caring for her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she had a special way of loving and nurturing not only her own family, but many others who came into her life. Those who knew Brenda will remember her strength, her wonderful sense of humor, and especially her contagious laughter. She loved music and enjoyed singing, both in church choirs and at home. She and George also shared a love of travel, exploring the world together and returning with memories and stories to share. Brenda was equally memorable for her unique, "blingy" sense of style (especially if it was purple). Her fashion reflected her vibrant personality and her willingness to always be herself. Above all, Brenda treasured the life she built with George and the family they created together. Their 62 years of marriage were filled with love, companionship, laughter, and a lifetime of memories. She is survived by her husband, George Palmer Jr.; her sons, Bryon Palmer (Melinda) and Aaron Palmer (Doreen); her grandchildren, Cody, Casey, and Hailey Palmer; her great-grandson, Mylan Palmer; and her sister, Nancy Hendrick. Brenda leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, laughter, and family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Vicki Chesney officiating; interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
