Harrison Baize

On February 12th, we lost a son, brother, and fiercely loyal friend. Harrison passed the way we all hope to- peacefully, in his sleep, at home. He has never been happier or healthier than the last days of his life, and we are profoundly proud of the legacy he leaves behind. To know Harrison was to love him deeply. He had an infectious personality and lion's heart for helping others. He naturally gravitated towards those in need and made both people and animals feel seen, understood, and valued. He was kind, protective, and led with a servant leadership that we were lucky to have and hope to emulate. Harrison brought child-like joy and laughter to everyone he met, and the absence of both will leave a tremendous void in our hearts. We are fortunate to have the pain of loss, as it's a reminder of where there was and will always be love. Harrison is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Ellis Baize, Grandmother, Elizabeth Baize and Grandfather, Billy Grindle. He is succeeded by his Father, Scott Baize, Mother, Ann Baize, Sister, Katherine Baize, Brother-In-Law, Michael O'Hare. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM; interment will follow at West View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, February 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 pm, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Following West View Cemetery, please join us for a reception at Monday Night Garage, 933 Lee St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310, from 4:30-7:30 pm. Details are as follows: Free parking available at 933 Lee Street. Once parked, walk towards the beltline, between Boxcar and Wild Heaven, and Monday Night Garage will be on the left. Enter through the orchard path and into the main taproom and ask to be directed to the Chandelier Room. Or for a more direct route, take the sidewalk path flat into the Courtyard space (with the firepits and picnic tables).
