Pamela Elaine Gattis Evans, age 69 of Conyers, died Thursday, April 3, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edward Gattis, Sr. & Helen Desboro Gattis; & sister, Patricia Lynn McLendon. She is survived by her son, Dale Sigman; step-daughter, Ashley Puckett; brother & sister-in-law, Thomas Edward & Harriett Gattis Jr,; sister & brother-in-law, Donna & Keith Jones; nieces & nephews, Brian & Kelly Gattis, Clayton & Donessa Gattis, Lindsey McLendon, Anna & Tim McLendon. Pam has lived in Conyers, GA, all her life. She loved her son, Dale, more than life itself, as well as her family & friends. She was affectionately called 'Unk' by family. She retired from Henry County School Transportation as a Special Needs School Bus Driver for 40 years. She adored her dog, Apple, & cat, Dew. If you saw a little yellow car decorated with eyelashes & red lips, you knew it was her - she loved that car. Her style of fashion was unmatched, from her hair, makeup, to her clothes. Her hobbies included karaoke, being a KJ for weddings, & playing her guitar. She especially loved creating diamond art & gifting them to friends, planting flowers, thrift shopping with her junkin' ladies, playing Bunco with 11 other women she cherished, & talking on the phone with family & friends for hours. Every year for the past 5 years, she enjoyed going on cruises with her best friend. To know her was to love her. She brightened up any room she entered. She had a heart of gold. If you needed her for anything, she was there. She had a beautiful singing voice & is now singing in the Angels' Choir. She touched so many lives with her love for people, always making others laugh & walk away smiling. Pamela's story beautifully reflects how one person can leave an enduring mark on the lives of so many. The love she shared continues to be an inspiration. Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel.
