Trevor Tirrell Collier

It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the passing of our beloved Trevor Tirrell Collier (33) 'Simba' on September 2, 2024. Trevor was born on February 25, 1991, to Juanita Collier and Travis Milton and raised by his stepfather, Eric Jones. He was the administrative consultant for his grandfather's family business, Hosea Williams Bail Bonding; in Decatur, Ga. Trevor was an amazing soul. He led his life by example. He was compassionate and supportive of others. His life was an expression of kindness, even when life wasn't kind to him. In his early life, he enjoyed promoting music and working with Atlanta's upcoming local artists; he also made comedic videos with family and friends. Trevor connected with nature through camping, hiking, and starting a garden. Trevor also loved animals just as much as he loved people. As 'Simba', he performed at spoken word events. His poetic lyrics reflected his life experiences today and how true love and forgiveness heals. He later became an advocate for human rights and organized demonstrations to support justice and equality for all. One of Simba's quotes is, 'We must love one another and support each other. We have nothing to lose except these chains.' Trevor Tirrell Collier (Simba). He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jaunita Collier and Eric Jones; father, Travis Milton; brothers, Terron Milton, Darron Gates, and Eli Jones; sisters, Nyah Houston, Genebria Barrett, Faith Houston, and Farah Jones; great-grandmother, Lillie Durham; aunts, Brenda Johnson, Vera Collier, Dr. Barbara Emerson, Elizabeth Omilami, Yolanda Favors, and Krishonna Milton; uncles, Ronnie Collier and Andre Williams; nieces and nephews, Krayden Tolbert, Temari Tolbert, and Ellana Clemons; special friends, Don Tolbert, Jeanette Scott, and Rianna Simpson; beloved fur babies, Migo and Akshay Collier.
