Janice Mays Byers, age 70 of Conyers, died Saturday, November 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Carolyn Mays and brother, Richard Cecil Mays. Janice is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Craig Byers, Jr.; sister, Pamela Lord and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Byers was a graduate of UGA with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1970. She taught in the Gwinnett County School System for many years. Janice loved walks, and visits with her friends and neighbors. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 12:00 PM with Dr. Al Myers officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
