Kyong 'Kim' Cha Rascoe Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kyong Cha Rascoe, age 70 of Conyers, died Monday, June 27, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Mike Rascoe; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Tiffany Rascoe; daughter, Missy Rascoe; step-son & daughter-in-law, Joe and Lana Rascoe, Jr.; brothers, Hye Il Pae, Hye Moon So; sisters, Hye Em Pae, Hye Sung So; 5 grandchildren, Hannah Rascoe, Mina Rascoe, Quinn Rascoe, Andrew Rascoe, and Gavin Rascoe. She was preceded in death by her father, Won Kyu Pae; and mother, Ok Kui Kwo. Kim was a volunteer and chaperone for Rockdale Special Olympics for many years. She was also a volunteer for Rockdale Miracle Baseball League since 1999. Kim was a 'Red Hat' lady, a Shrine Lady for many years in the Loganville Shrine Club, and a lifetime member of the Second Indian Division Association Auxiliary. Kim loved gardening and growing flowers. She liked camping and fishing. She loved cooking and playing with her dogs, Pee Wee and Tobi. Her greatest joy was babysitting her grandchildren and watching them grow. Kim immigrated to America in 1978 and became a citizen in 1985. She was a proud American. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
