Linda Bryson

Linda Bryson, 78, of Conyers, GA, passed away on February 6th. Linda was born on August 5, 1945, to Lena Estelle and Hubert Pearson in Royston, GA. She married Gerald Bryson, in 1963, going on to have five daughters, Jill, Wendy, Beth, Amy, and Nancy. She devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. In 1982, the Bryson family moved to Saudi Arabia where they lived for 6 years. Linda made lifelong memories during those years, exploring the world with her husband and daughters. Shortly after returning to the United States and her home in Conyers, GA, Linda was predeceased by her husband Gerald Bryson. She spent every following year devoted to raising her daughters, caring for her grandchildren, and doting on her great grandchildren. Also, during those years, she and her companion of more than 30 years, Dale Bell, created many memories as they enjoyed shared hobbies and traveling. Linda loved the Lord and His love shone through her in the way she loved and cared for others. She enjoyed gardening, loved flowers, and was an avid collector of rocks from all her travels. Her home was open to everyone, and her hospitality made them feel comforted and important. Her friends were more like family. She was the most loving, humble, compassionate, understanding, giving woman and one of the most beautiful souls one could ever meet. Linda was also predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth Brown, granddaughter Emily Agnes Brown, and brothers Felton Pearson, Gerald Pearson, and Hugh Pearson. She is survived by her daughters Jill Henson (Kent), Wendy Papalexis, Amy Woods (Bill), Nancy Robbins (Jason), son-in-law Scott Brown, brother Stanley (Lynn) Pearson, grandchildren Jonathan Henson, Lanier Henson, Caroline Brack, Peter Papalexis, Theodore Papalexis, Jerry Papalexis, Russell Brown, Christopher Woods, Carter Woods, Dylan Robbins, and Ally Robbins, and great-grandchildren Faith, Anna, Sophia, and Poppy. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with officiating Toney Senator ; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.
