Steve Olvey

April 6, 1961 - June 11, 2022

Steven 'Steve' Royce Olvey, age 61 of McDonough, died Saturday, June 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Royce Olvey and sister, Sherry Olvey. He is survived by his son, Harrison Royce Olvey; daughter, Addison Lin Olvey; mother, Barbara Rainwater; sister and brother-in-law, Shannon and Mike Tolleson. Steve was employed with Home Depot for over 20 years and was a handyman and carpenter who used his skills to build PlayTown Suwanee. He was awarded a key to the City for his community service. He was the director of operations with Avionics Interface Technologies. His world revolved around his children and he will be missed. Steve was a loving man who cared deeply about those around him and always left lasting impressions. He lived to help others. He was always quick with a joke and never failed to make everyone smile. Family will receive friends at a gathering on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Scot Ward Funeral Services.
