Janice Cook

Janice Marie Cook, age 59 of Conyers, died Friday, August 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, James McKenzie; grandparents, Clyde and Dorothy Gibson, James and Lillian McKenzie; sister, Joyce Fisher; niece, Michelle Munson; brother-in-law, Tommy Cook. She is survived by her husband, Randy Jackson Cook; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Cook, Jr., David and Melissa Cook, Brian and Jennifer Cook; grandchildren, Brianna, Brian, Brittany, Brooklyn, Brynley, Ruby, Maci; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dickie and Shannon Price, Jamie and Laura Price; sisters and brother-in-law; Diane Christian, Barbara and Bill Hanna, Deborah Day, Dale Lindsey, April Gorham; mother, Catherine Peacock; mother-in-law, Betty Hoggle; sisters and brother-in-Law - Stevie Oldham, Kathy Allen, Betty Jane and Steve Keeton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary Hoggle, David and Sally Cook, Daniel and Stephanie Cook; special family friends, Robyn and Ronald Bryan, Jean 'Partner in Crime' Duckett as well numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends. Janice married her loving husband and sweetheart, Randy on December 27th at the young age of 15. This December would mark their 44th wedding anniversary. Janice attended Lithonia High School and later became a driver for the Rockdale County Board of Education. She was a faithful member of Water Oak Baptist Church; she lived her life serving the Lord. Janice loved to make floral arrangements. When she wasn't making people smile with her arrangements, they were laughing because Janice loved to be goofy and silly. She was a loving person, known as the 'neighborhood mom' and she touched so many lives. Above all the things she enjoyed and did, she loved her family with all her heart and might. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Water Oak Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Cook and Bro. Michael Dickens officiating; interment will follow at Hydes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, August 30, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the church.
